The world-famous gaming company has moved into new premises at Gl. Mønt in the heart of Copenhagen. In connection with the takeover of the new premises, many initiatives have been made regarding the lighting design to make the facilities as spacious as possible.

Focus on spaciousness

The world-famous company IO Interactive, known for developing the successful game Hitman, has moved into a new innovative studio in the heart of Copenhagen.

LITE has developed and designed the many different lighting solutions in their new 3000m2 domicile, which houses over 20 different nationalities.

It has been an incredibly exciting and challenging task to meet all of IO's needs for the functionality of their new facilities as there have been many specific needs to be taken into account.

The biggest wish was, in short, spaciousness for everyone and for everyone.

This is evident when you enter the building. After the beautiful reception area, the first thing you see is a large open staircase, which is designed so that employees can hold workshops, idea generation and mini-concerts in one place. The large staircase is illuminated by RGB/W Panels, which are composed of 3 large luminaire fields in the ceilings. This gives employees great flexibility in everyday life, as they can either choose regular lighting or different colors of light from the ceiling construction.

In general, the ability to change colors is again present in several of the implemented solutions throughout the home, all with the possibility of individual control.

Several areas with special lighting have also been created where employees have the opportunity to relax during the day when their heads need some peace from the many screens that are often used at the same time.

In the canteen area, booths have been created that all have the option of changing color to give an exciting dynamic and new expression to everyday life.

We are proud to have helped IO Interactive settle into their new building, and are pleased that the many lighting solutions are being used extensively in everyday life and have been well received by the many enthusiastic employees.
